ABOUT THE ATTORNEY
Lynette A Whitfield

Ms. Whitfield began her solo practice in Rockville, Maryland in 2006, and has represented federal government employees with a variety of labor and employment law issues. Prior to opening her practice, Ms. Whitfield worked for a small boutique law firm in Washington, D.C. with a focus on representing federal government employees.

Ms. Whitfield's interest in the practice of law stems from her dedication to social justice issues and her sincere desire to serve underrepresented communities. To that end, Ms. Whitfield donates a large percentage of her time to volunteering in her community. Ms. Whitfield is currently a volunteer attorney with the Montgomery County, Maryland Bar Foundation's Pro Bono Program and the Women's Law Center of Maryland's Employment Law Hotline. Ms. Whitfield also co-supervises a pro bono clinic  sponsored by the Montgomery County Bar Foundation. For individuals seeking pro bono assistance, please contact the Montgomery County Bar Foundation's Pro Bono Program.
